What requirements do I need to fulfil before studying at the University of Bayreuth?Hide

To enroll in a degree program, you must provide proof of a general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a vocational qualification. Students attending a vocational upper secondary school (BOS) must demonstrate sufficient proficiency in a second foreign language in order to obtain the general university entrance qualification at the end of 11th grade.

A subject-specific university entrance qualification, after completing 13th grade, allows you to pursue certain relevant degree programs at the University of Bayreuth. Here you will find an overview of how subject-specific university entrance qualifications are matched to degree programs.

A "Fachhochschulreife", after completing 12th grade, does not qualify you to study at a university.
