Change of first and/or last name

Your first or last name has changed (e.g. due to marriage), or the spelling of your name has been corrected?

To process a name change, please submit an official proof of the change, such as:

• a copy of the marriage certificate
• a copy of the name change certificate,
  

Please submit the proof together with the form for changing personal data to the student administration office.To receive a new student ID card, please also send us your old Campus-Card. If you wish, you may also submit a new photo for your new student ID. According to § 10 of the University of Bayreuth’s Enrolment Regulations, students are required to report any changes to their first and/or last name to the student administrations office.

Change of first name and/or gender entry

Have you changed your first name and/or gender and would like this change to be reflected in your student account data?

Please submit the completed form together with an official proof of the change (please submit one of the following documents):

• certificate of the change (issued by the registry office)
• new birth certificate
• new ID card
• dgti supplementary ID

To receive a new student ID card, please also send us your campus card. A new passport photo can also be submitted if desired.

Change of Nationality

Do you have multiple nationalities, have you recently become a naturalized citizen, or have you renounced your nationality?

Please submit the completed form together with an official proof of the change (i.e. your new ID card, passport, etc.). According to § 10 of the Enrolment, Re-enrolment and De-Registration Regulations of the University of Bayreuth, students are required to notify the University of any change of nationality to the student administration office.
